The program with the theme "From Vision to Action: Nurses Driving Rural Health Progress" mainly aimed to create awareness on the vital role of nurses in strengthening rural healthcare systems and promoting equitable access to health services. The workshop held at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre of Guwahati, witnessed active participation from students and faculty members of various notable nursing institutions, highlighting a collective commitment towards advancing rural health. The discussions reflected the broader vision of nurses as frontline caregivers, educators, leaders, and change agents who bridge healthcare gaps in underserved communities through dedication, resilience, and innovation.
The program was further enriched by the presence of three distinguished keynote speakers   Dr. Rita Rani Talukdar, Professor Gauhati University (Dept. Of Psychology), Dr. Debanga Raj Neog, Mehta School of Health Sciences and Technology, IIT Guwahati, and Mrs. Shikhamoni Borah, DPHNO, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Kamrup M), whose expert insights and experiences reinforced the importance of nursing leadership in rural health development.
