ADMISSION CRITERIA

B.Sc Nursing

  1. The minimum age for admission is 17 years.
  2. The minimum educational requirement: H.S.S.L.C. (Sc) i.e. 10+2 or Senior School Certificate Exam (10+2) or Pre degree Exam or any degree passed with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum of 45% marks in PCB. In case of SC/ST the minimum marks is relaxable by 5%. (But ANC consider 50% as minimum percentage and for ST/SC 45%)
  3. Students wanting to be admitted to the B. Sc Nursing course have to appear for Common Entrance Exam (CEE) held under Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS). Application forms are available on the University website:www.ssuhs.in from 09-05-2024 to 24-05-2024. The Entrance Test is going to be held on 09-06-2024. For further clarification please contact the college admin.
  4. Candidate shall have to be medically fit.
  5. Admission is open for all genders.

B.Sc Nursing Fee for the Academic Year 2023-24: Rs. 274,000
(Rupees Two Lakhs Seventy Four Thousand)
Payment Schedule:

  • At the time of admission : Rs.130,000
  • 1st Installment (Before 20th Jan 2024) : Rs. 74,000
  • 2nd Installment (Before 20th April 2024) :  Rs. 70,000

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

  1. The minimum educational requirement:

    (a) Intermediate/ 10+2 (Arts/Science/Commerce) or its equivalent
    (b) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
    (c) Must be registered under respective nursing council & Midwifery (GNM)

  2. Candidate shall have to be medically fit
  3. Admission is open for all genders

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Fee for the Academic Year 2023-24: Rs. 179,520
(Rupees One Lakh Seventy Nine Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty)
Payment Schedule:

  • At the time of admission : Rs.85,000
  • 1st Installment (Before 20th Jan 2024) : Rs. 64,000
  • 2nd Installment (Before 20th April 2024) :  Rs. 34,520

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

  1. Age criteria: 17 to 35 years
  2. Eligibility:
    • HSSLC (10+2) or its equivalent passed preferably Science (PCB) and English with aggregate of 40% marks.
    • 10+2 in Arts (Maths, Biotechnology, Economic, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/ Elective or Health Care Science - Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognised Board under AISSCE/CBSCE/ICSCE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
    • 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognised by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
    • Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
    • Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health Care Science- Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
  3. Candidate shall have to be medically fit

  5. CEE to be held for admission into GNM program across Assam nursing colleges both private and govt.Dates are
    • GNM CEE Registration from 10-05-2024 to 10-06-2024

(Rupees Two Lakhs Twenty Two Thousand)
Payment Schedule:

  • At the time of admission : Rs.100,000
  • 1st Installment (Before 20th April 2024) : Rs. 60,000
  • 2nd Installment (Before 20th June 2024) :  Rs. 62,000

Auxiliary Nursing Midwife (ANM)

  1. Age criteria: 17 to 35 years
  2. Eligibility: 10+2 or any other equivalent examination
  3. Candidate shall have to be medically fit

ANM Fee for the Academic Year 2023-24: Rs.170500
(Rupees One Lakh Seventy Thousand Five Hundred)
Payment Schedule:

  • At the time of admission : Rs.80,000
  • 1st Installment (Before 20th April 2024) : Rs. 50,000
  • 2nd Installment (Before 20th June 2024) :  Rs. 40,500

NOTE
  • For qualified students seat can be reserved by paying Rs.50,000 (Rupees Fifty thousand only) for B.Sc Nursing
  • Reservation will be valid for 15 days from the day of reservation subject to clearance of admission amount. Reservation amount is non refundable. All Payments through Bank is preferrable
